Great place where to eat hand made udon/soba! I really did not expect so much quality close to very popular tourist destinations but yhis really was the case. Fried tofu (maybe due to the fact that there is a very close tofu producer) was absolutely delicious.

I finally went to the pick-up house I wanted to go to before.Order zaru soba and tempura soba. Zaru soba has Gokayama tofu tempura. Tempura soba with tempura soba is full of volume, but it is healthy because it is vegetable, mushroom, gokayama tofu. Because it is served with matcha salt, it is light and very delicious. There were only three consecutive holidays and it was very crowded. I ate Tenzuru soba and fried tofu. If anything, it is light in all.The compatibility between the sake of Sansho and Gokayama tofu is outstanding.I think it ’s usually delicious.

Excellent soba or buckwheat noodle. You should order extra dish of Tofu sashimi or Tofu dengaku, though. Tofu in this region is HARD, but tasty. It has natural flavor of soy beans which is pleasant.

Soba shop near the tourist information center of Gokayama.You can enjoy udon and soba, which is the characteristic hardness of Gokayama.Tempura soba is recommended. It is quite delicious.The view from the window is the best because the store itself is built on a cliff along the Kamogawa River.The parking lot is narrow, with only 3 cars or so in front of the store.I think that it is better to park your car in the tourist parking lot near the tourist information center or from Kamihira and walk on foot.Opening hours are as short as 15:00, and it is very careful that it is quite crowded especially during the sightseeing season at lunchtime.

The soba noodle shop, cold soba noodles, cold udon, tofu, and tempura are also delicious.

You can enjoy buckwheat noodles in cold water. The price is reasonable and you can enjoy Gokayama Tofu.
